My husband and I were out hiking early this morning, and this curious beaver came over to the foot bridge we were crossing. We couldn't determine if it was warning us to stay away or needed something else? In any event, it was a very special experience.
Lucky encounter! We have some beavers in a preserve near us, but they are mostly active at night. Actually, I have never seen a beaver in the wild! Lots of muskrats, but no beavers.
