It was a hot one out there today with a heat index of about 100. Late in the afternoon, I took my usual tour of the yard and spotted this Monarch on a Butterfly Weed (Asclepias Tuberosa). This was the second Monarch caterpillar in the yard this year, or at least that I spotted. I am doing my part to help the pollinators!
