This juvenile laughing gull was enjoying hanging out at the water's edge. Yesterday was grey with driving rain, so I am filling in with a shot from Thursday. There aren't many birds on the beach right now, compared to the flocks we see in February and March.
@ludwigsdiana Nope, it was a balmy 72 degrees or so when this was taken. That is why we go South in the winter. It was in the 30s in Connecticut this week at night.
