The Empty Nest

Our son has gone back to college, so this seemed an apt photo for today. I think this is a Baltimore Oriole nest, and it is hanging in a pear tree.

Thank you for showing me this. I think mine is an oriole after seeing yours. We have two kinds in my area. We have the Baltimore Oriole and the Orchard Oriole. I haven't seen either one, but now I know where to keep an eye out. :0)
