I was surprised to see a few starlings in the yard this morning. They ate the few crackers I had thrown out the window (I can't get to the bird feeder in this deep snow), leaving none for the blue jays who usually rule the roost.
@hollandcrew We got about 33 inches of snow. It took days to get plowed out and the piles of snow around town are 10-15 feet tall. Quite a record for us here.
Great shot - are you becoming a pro at shooting from the window? I don't guess I'd noticed his pretty colors before - the sun is really making them shine.
