In other news, I got this ring cleaned. The picture doesn't really do it justice to how sparkly the diamonds look. This is my mother's...has been in the family for years. I asked if I could borrow it. Permanently. She said yes.

I don't have a diamond engagement ring because I got married by surprise, as I like to say. (Eloped, really.) Just a simple wedding band. It's platinum and from Tiffany's, also pictured here. (Hmmm...that name again.)

This ring is the only set of diamonds I (kind of) own, probably will ever own. I'm not much of a jewelry person but a girl can't say no to diamonds!

Nice pair of rings and there is certainly a strong relationship between women of all ages and diamonds, my wife of 70+ has not lost that attraction 8-)
