I don't like ketchup. At all. In fact I gag and get a little nauseous when I smell it.
I'm a picky eater in the sense that I like what I like. However I will try anything once (and like all different types of food) and when I say I don't like a food it's actually because I tried it.
In that vein, I kinda find it annoying when people won't try new foods or say they don't like something they haven't even tried.
My fave cuisines are Japanese and French food.
I was going to go to art school...but I didn't want to be financially struggling for the rest of my life.
People might describe me as nice...which is kind of ironic because the word "nice" is not a word ever used to describe my husband. (actually son of a bitch, has been used and he agrees to that lol). Opposites attract, I guess.
I have the worst song in my head today. It's that cheesy 80s song by the Jets, "Crush on you." So random! I don't even know why. I haven't even heard it anywhere. Please get it out of my head.
"How did you know...'cuz I never told...you've found out...I got a crush on you..."
Speaking of crushes...I think I fall in and out of crushes easily. It's never the dangerous, all-consuming kind of crush that'll ruin lives and relationships though. It's more like a moment when I feel an overwhelming adoration for a person and I just wanna give 'em a big big hug. I crush on my husband when he does something funny. I have girl crushes on other women who I think are totally awesome, accomplished, or hot. I am crushing hard on my coffee guy. Lol I missed him so much when he was gone. Heck, I crush on people I've never met.
Oh hey I might even have had a crush on you at some point. :P
Happy Tuesday, people! It's snowy and shitty in manhattan... But I'm kind of enjoying it. Pic taken on my walk to work this morning from the train.
Cool shot! You and your sis definitely share the disgust for ketchup! I happen to love it :) I am totes the same way with crushes...I will obsess a little for like a week and then be like eh..moving on. Haha
@islandk8 yes my sis and I and a handful of others are ones who don't like ketchup. Whenever I meet someone new who does not like it, I feel an almost instant connection.
@mcmary thanks, Mary! And hooray re ketchup lol. Although I do try to keep my dislike hidden... I don't want to offend people who do like it. Incidentally, though, I don't always get the same respect - I get weird looks or reactions from people when I tell them I don't like it. Some are incredulous. Why is it hard to believe? Lol.
I use to get crushes really bad. I got that under control now, though.
I see you had the same weather as us. Nothing to do but put your head down and keep trudging through.
@tosee haha the guy moving towards me was in a really grumpy mood.
@baznman yep gotta keep trudging through the sludgy mess. Does a number on the cuffs of my pants if I'm not wearing the proper boots. Also re: crushes... Crushes can be good fun and harmless if they are under control...however subjective a meaning "under control" may take on. :)
