lips traveled down
her smooth
against his scratchy stubbly beard
like whiskers
grazing lightly the delicateness
of her silky skin
like an animal
he hunted to find
the center of her
she wanted to be found...
Exhilaration
("companion" piece for a pic I did last year: http://365project.org/fauxtography365/365/2013-04-24 Been wanting to do a follow-up of sorts for that photo for the longest time. Feeling kind of meh about it but putting it out there anyway. Not sure if this does the trick for a follow-up piece or if this is the venue for this kind of thing anymore. But since I started it here, I'll finish it up as such.)
Really like the photo. In my opinion, it depends on what you are going for. I think the previous picture is more enticing, but I like this photo and the black and white better. Nice job.
may not have all the right words .. so lets just say I enjoyed this pic ... and your words ... and the companion piece too ... !! and since its getting really hot in here - need to step out in the chill for a while!!
@stuck8 thanks, Sean. Not even sure what I was going for in this picture nor in the picture I had taken before lol. I had written something else for this but decided that it wasn't going to work at all. Oh well. I'll keep tinkering with this idea. Thanks for checking it out and commenting!
I think the two poems work exceptionally well together and think they're both great. And while I like both images, I'm not sure they fit together as much as the poems themselves. This one has a more dreamy artistic feel, while the other is a bit more in your face. And as far as the venue, I think this is the the best venue for this type of post...where people still feel comfortable viewing and giving honest critique.
@jcarrollphoto Ahh thanks for the helpful feedback! Actually I think you articulated what I've been feeling about these images paired with the words. So hard here to capture in my mind what I want to convey in a photo.. or a photo to capture the words in my head. Trying to do it without being pornographic or distasteful is tricky....
@fauxtography365 never felt like any of your images were pornographic or distasteful, but they are definitely sensual and seductive in an artistic way, so I hope you keep posting them
@04haze thanks, Lee. If I attempt this particular concept again, I have a better idea in mind. Always learning, wanting to improve and all that... :). Always room to make things better.
what can I say? the shot is lovely...artistic, seductive, spot on in B&W! The poem...I'll have to join @friend2303 Vijay outside to let off steam hehehe!
I remember seeing the first shot - again the shot is lovely - the poem...was in April so stepping outside only led to overheating! hehehe
Maybe you should seriously consider taking up glamour photography Tee! :)
@tosee thanks, Tom. I suppose it is explorative in nature....Both the images and words and my willingness to see where it takes me. And thanks for the fave :)
@jpgiorgio thanks, JP! As for the kind of photography I want to focus on... Ya know, I'm not sure what where my strengths lie when it comes to this medium, so I'm just gonna keep snapping things I like. :)
while it is another cool and classy partial Ms T selfie, there are two shadows here that distract mine eye. The lower right hand breast shadow is something that maybe I would have cropped out and there is a real straight line going from your shoulder to your neck which I find odd. But a very cool shot. Off to go see your linked photo.
@bobfoto Hey thanks for the feedback! Since I have posted this, I have been wanting to crop the lower right shadow which is actually my bra not hand though. It bothers me too the more I look at it. Including my hair. Ugh wish I could get that out of the pic or remembered to pull the hair up completely. The other harsh line is the lighting from above...my head casting a shadow. The lighting in my bathroom is either kind or harsh. But I actually like that shadow. :) Gotta pay more attention to those details though. Always learning :)
@fauxtography365 - while I have never used a reflector or used a studio, the people on this site who do produce some really cool portraits without the shadow things. I am more like you and stand in the bathroom and think "I can work with that..."
@bobfoto haha I am too lazy for props or tools that would probably elevate my photography game. That's my issue. Is a good thing I earn my money elsewhere!

@becksphotography thanks for checking it out!
