Yellow and red

Not motivated this week for pictures. Got shit for pics. But fuck it. I'm still gonna give this a try. I wonder how I managed it in 2013 with no fillers and no skipped days or cheating. Why did it seem easier then?

So...the train I got on after I took this pic... there was a homeless dude who smelled like piss and was snoring on the train. Seated somewhat next to him was a young woman putting on a ton of mascara. Then the seats across them were vacant because there was a curious brown smear across them.

GAG.

Reminded me of this from Louis CK. You see shit like this a lot.

I talk a lot about subway stories here. Been thinking about creating an Instagram specifically for documenting all the things I see traveling the subways. Hmmm....

Here's a few more clips from Louis Ck's show that depict NYC subway culture.

I actually think this one is sort of genius: https://youtu.be/muvloX0fk8c

This last one may not be funny but it's pretty much what happens.

Anyway... maybe tomorrow I'll get the real camera and take an image worth looking at.

Now excuse me while I sing "la la la la la la" and piss off my fellow subway riders lol.
I feel you, some days sure feel like a struggle to get something shot and posted. And regarding a subway blog, I would eat that shit up; most anything big-city actually. Doesn't need to be yuge either; just everyday city stuff fascinates this mountain boy :)

@grizzlysghost haha yuge. No it will be tremendous. But I'm really thinking about doing it....no shortage of material for it!

Love the image and your thought process.

Actually I really love this, and I do not want to like I phone photos. The long tube, the yellow warning line the red signs and two figures in red coats and
black legs, I guess against my prejudices I have to fav

I absolutely love the vanishing point perspective of the yellow safety strip, the rails, the overhead lights, the left wall, contrasted against the absence of such eye-drawing lines on the right part of the shot. Definite fav, and likely plagiarism material for future subway travels.

BTW, what does the red sign at top center mean?

@timerskine i think it may be indicating a water hose of sorts? not sure.
