Because I can't NOT talk about politics. And because this is daily, real life stuff. There's this fucked up notion in society about the worthy and 'unworthy' poor and disenfranchised. And embedded in that thought process is systemic, institutionalized racism and classism. And if you really don't think that's a part of the truth and big picture here, then you need to get your head out of the fucking sand.
For real.
We are all going to be affected by the changes that are taking place within our healthcare system. As a provider in the healthcare system, this really makes me nervous for my patients. As a consumer/patient myself, I don't know what to expect. Shit's gonna get costly, in more ways than one.
I'm still trying to find my voice and how to really affect change. Protests are great and all but it's time for action. I'm a little overwhelmed about what, if anything, I can do.
To be honest, I don't feel encouraged by what I see. What is the fucking replacement???
Didn't mean to start off my February post with something negative but I wanted to say something. May replace later. And obviously if no one likes what I have to say...you don't have to read it.
Love your image, love your cause and admire your determination. The reach of Mr Trump's crazy actions is well beyond the US of A, effecting the whole word one way or another.
shits getting real thats for sure, maybe a whacko is what it takes to get people to wake up and get their shit together? what do you do indeed is the question.
