Excellent pic of a cicada!! That eye is one serious lookin' thing, isn't it. Great details in his wings. I'm impressed that you did what it took to move this ugly bug. I'd be worried that he'd start that loud noise while in transit and scare the beegeebees out of me. :)

I love cidadas! How did you MOVE it without having it fly away? I posted a video on here once of me sneaking up on one...and she was not flying away because she was drilling a hole to deposit her eggs. but finally, I got TOO close and she flew at me. I screamed. hee hee Nice pic. I love this one's green eyes.
