This painted lady butterfly was enjoying the nectar from the butterfly bush! I've never really looked at once close before but they have some cool antennae and that tongue is quite long! Best viewed large on black!
Excellent focus and detail on this butterfly's face!! That can be such a challenge to get as they don't exactly hold still for long. We must enjoy our butterfly photo opportunities before they fly away, right?
