Home sick today while my family goes to my brother's house for Thanksgiving dinner! Have a bad cold and don't want to infect anyone. I knew that I would be taking a picture close to home. Had no intension of taking another bee photo but once I got out there with my macro lens I couldn't help myself. I really like this bee shot! Best viewed on black!
Wow — the detail in this image is amazing, Faye. Viewed on black, the bee's dark features are all the more pronounced. It's such a bummer though that you weren't feeling well while taking the photo and that you've missed out on a family Thanksgiving celebration. Hope you're feeling much better today.
