SPRING! Life beneath the snow!

I took this picture yesterday and thought that this would be a great picture for "First Day of Spring". It was an opening into future growth!
I like they way the some of the ferns were so green beneath the snow!

Great find! Yesterday I realized that the leaves and corn hulls that had blown in around a shed were lifting off the ground. Peeking under I discovered the daffodils pushing their winter cover up off the ground. They were determined to find the sun.
