Look WAY UP!

Spotted this pileated woodpecker way up in the tree! I wished that I could have gotten closer! It was getting dark so I had to really work at getting this picture light and clear enough to see this amazing bird! It was pecking away at this hole in the tree!

The impressive size of this woodpecker is really notable with him on the tree trunk. Wow!
