This beautiful fireplace (although I’m not so keen on the marble surround) is in Mon Repos, the house in Corfu where Prince Philip was born, allegedly on the kitchen table. Our group’s guide appears to be a massive fan of said deceased royal, and was very upset that none of the material in the museum mentioned the British Royal Family!
