Oh dear... well considering the kids fancied a trip to Marrakesh rather than oop north I'm afraid to say I wasn't the most popular person on Sunday... the wind howled around us and the rain pelted us mercilessly all day.
The lights started to come on again just as we were leaving, cold wet and miserable... looked back at this view of the tower, and liked the shine from the lights and traffic - you can only just make out the rain but I think the body language and the bent-over shapes tell their own story. (They were odd, sort of bendy paddles, you could just about see them upright on yesterday's shot looking down)
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my tower / illuminations shot - the lights are due to go off this weekend 'til next year so I'm glad we got to see them - even if (thanks to the weather) the kids don't ever want to go there again, ever!!
I really lik this shot, I can clearly see the wind and rain. I guess living by the sea, I know these poses :) I like the reflctions, lights and the general busyness of the shot
