How to find a K in a light bulb....first examine all the bulbs, then wrap the most suitable in kitchen paper and whack it (gently) with a hammer. {for a sensible mumsy like me this was unspeakably exciting!} Carefully re-arrange the filament into a K shape and take a close-up shot (with a candle behind it to brighten it up). Weird but since when was my project normal?!
OverJoyed at your jenerous comments on my little J-shaped snake yesterday - he was blue with a blue nose ... drastically transformed by the power of the picmonkey.
Have a Terrific Tuesday!
All a bit worrying really......others commenting on breeds of cattle and sheep and you are secreted away smashing light bulbs for fun :))) fantastic Phil....just amazing well done, loving your calender view thingy!! has to be a fav!!
My first thought when I saw this was: "You did not take this with your Canon!" ;-) Great K, great macro shot and I love that silky smooth, grey background. PS. Hope you didn't kill a perfectly good light bulb to get the shot ;-)
So, I saw this one and then started working my way backwards. . .you are too much, my dear! BTW: I really love that you've included those little splashes of red, as well.
ROFL!! You're description made me chuckle. I love how you got this shot! Wrap it and smack with hammer... lol ... I am glad you didn't cut yourself This is a great shot, Phil! It captures the K perfectly. I just hope you didn't kill a live bulb but smashed up a spent one! Well done, Phil! :)
And a light bulb. You have such great ideas!
Brilliantly clever.
