Went to collect George and found myself driving past sheep and lambs. Veered off the main road to get closer to the little lambkins and when I got out of the car found about 50 sheep charging up to me all baaa-ing insistently. Then they stopped dead, a few feet away, and stared at me in silence. Believe it or not I felt the need to say something and said 'ehm hello' rather expecting them to say 'baa ram ewe' or something in reply. So this is my shot for 'silence' - and yes, they won the staring contest!
(Wish I had got down a little lower but I was more than a little disconcerted and not at all sure what they were going to do next!)
#taken at the weekend, edited yesterday to ump up the colours a bit.
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my dew-drop shots.... I can't imagine any better 365ers than you! Have a marvellous weekend :)
I think they thought you were the farmer arriving with some feed, you must have been a big disappointment arriving with only a camera! Great capture of them though :)
I think given the choose the one with the brown face would be head and shoulders above the rest as far as staring goes. He/she has quite an intense look! xx
Great shot! I don't blame you for getting lower. Sheep are sneaky buggers! They will do unspeakable things if you aren't looking back at them! Love this! Well done, Phil! :)
