So, in the ChooseYour Own Adventure/Fractured Fairytales version of Snow White, she does not fall into a state of suspended animation upon eating the poisoned apple, but instead writhes in agony (it's POISON, right?) as her intense beauty decays and she is transformed into a wicked witch! She wanders the forest, lost and alone until finding herself in the self-help section of the forest bookshop. She reads from writers from far away places. Eventually, she learns to meditate and forgive her enemies. She even indulges in a little yoga....we are not yet sure how the story concludes, but we suspect it's a happy ending!
