you know, i was in a somber mood after i saw this post earlier and i couldn't quite understand why. then i remembered that my mother told me something along this line a few weeks before she died in 1975. i have always missed her and i don't think i've ever gotten over that loss. very nicely done, my friend. i love it.
@fivefingerofdeath yes Paul, I cut the figures out of another shot and inverted them so they turned white, then layered it, lowering opacity some. also used a split toning filter over the black and white and few other tweaks, hope that answers your question
@summerfield Thanks for sharing that Vicki, I hoped this shot would provoke just that sort of connection for people, as a catharsis and comfort hopefully.
