@annied @flyrobin I tried several times to make the head image just like the facial creature in the movie The Abyss, but I couldn't make that happen. This editing effect is done with Photoshop and a layering filter technique called a Displacement Map. With a given image (my head), you map the selected texture (like flowing water with reflections) onto it by pushing the dark/light pixels up/down to follow the gradient of the given image. You then use some more layering, masking and blending to get the overall look with the head popping out of a water ripple.
