pea planting by fiveplustwo

pea planting

There is nothing like growing your own food. in a couple of months, allowing for birds, snails, slugs, chickens, smothering weeds, or too much wind and rain I should be picking peas! In the meantime I can imagine their pert podded greeness and their lookalike spheres. Slow food with zero food miles!

@kali66
home grown does taste so much better - if you can fight off said thieves and pestilence and thwart the weather

@summerfield haha no they can't really, my private paradise :) unless the meighbour behind me decides to finally build the two storey house he has been planning for years, he thinks he will get a view of the sea but all he will see is my beautiful mess! lol

@kali66 No, I just bought them in a box at the store...fresh produce. I so want to grow, but our yard isn't very conducive to a garden...super shady and not flat.
