For those of you that don't know, I'm a Trade & Architectural sales manager for Dulux New Zealand. That means I spend my working days spewing forth paint colours at a moments notice...I spend my working days surrounded by colour (I know, it's hard to believe). I have access to thousands of colours and choose B&W every time...what's yours?
It's been a busy old week.
What's my colour? Yellow as the sunshine on the ground, yellow as a dandelion in a lawn, yellow as a semi ripe banana, yellow as a lemon on a lemon tree! Mellow yellow! Interesting job!
That does not surprise me at all. People who live chaotic l chaotic Ives seem to surround them selves in white, beige so where you are alway face. With a large variety of colors all day long it would natural that you would choose B&W. Don't ask me where I got my psychology degree ......I think it came in a box of Cracker Jacks.,
Hehehe. Nope, still clever enough to be worth the wait. That is quite ironic, but perhaps it is your life full of colors that causes you to choose black and white? Although... you've preferred black and white long before this job.
Fun shot. :) I think my color is somewhere in the purples... do you have cool names for all your paint colors?

hahahahahhahahah! This is great. I feel the same about my job, surrounded by color but I love it! I'm a very shitting rainbows kinda person anyway ;) oh...and pink.

Well, isn't that interesting?! If you were here you would be dealing with the likes of me (being an architect and all...), and you would be a really fun rep to know! ;-)) I don't know how things are out there, but Dulux (which used to be ICI, one of my favorite paint companies), has been acquired by PPG Industries, and companies like Frazee, which was recently merged into Sherwin Williams have overtaken the market. I am having a hard time keeping track of corporate structuring and posturing any longer, but my standby color is the ICI White High Hiding White, which is all over my house (unless covered over in a bright red or dark purple!)...and, yes, all the paint colors have names!!
