In just one week, on December 14, it will be four years that my young son fell from a playground tree and broke his clavicle. While waiting for the x-ray results at the hospital that evening, I looked at him with his arm in a sling and felt so incredibly grateful. Earlier that day, 20 children had lost their lives in a mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School – as well as six adults from the school staff. I often think of all the parents and the siblings, who are undoubtedly reminded every day but whose Christmas seasons are always marked by this horrific event…
@kerosene You are so right! Life is short and very unpredictable. Unforeseen life changing or impacting events can happen at any moment. A person's character and personality is shaped over time and is certainly impacted by daily events. Nice image and theme interpretation.
