this song was one of the five covers in the second beatles album released in britain in 1963 which included seven lennon-mccartney original compositions and one of george harrison. the cover photograph, the boys wearing turtlenecks and shot chiaroscuro style by fashion photographer robert freeman, had been mimicked ever since by other groups/bands.

You are beautiful, and this image imparts serenity and self assurance - not too much but just enough. It's great to see women embracing their 'silver selves' too, I hid mine under a ton of hair dye for about 20 years -no more, love my silver now!
