when it started in 1967, it was called caribana and it's north america's largest festival. it is a festival of caribbean culture and traditions held each summer in the city of toronto.
those costumes cost by the thousands and some go all out with really huge and heavy outfits that they needed wheels! lots of feathers, beads, sequins, make-up and flesh, all lean or all flabs. this one ain't bad at all, just look at those long legs!
