Today I went for owl search, haven't found one, even if we heard tawny owls around recently. I have heard eurasian eagle owl, but haven't found it and since it was supposed to be short walk, I didn't have flashlight and sunset was too close, when I was walking in unknown forest.
But I found black woodpeckers home in dead tree, need to come back there later and found some black grouse, never seen them around before. Why oh why they are easiest to catch at sunrise? Oh joy.
