Pineapple lily
I couldn't see with the sun in my eyes so missed that ugly pot behind. However I liked how the pineapple lily was backlit so here it is.

Didn't notice the pot until I read you description. The lighting is beautiful on this unusual flower.

Love the lighting on this plant.
I know your frustration when you miss something in the background. Do you have a clone tool in your editing program.?

I don't think I've ever seen one of these, so unusual and pretty in the sunlight.

Just what's on the laptop which is very basic. I'm a bit of a technophobe so photoshop etc gives me the shivers! Thanks for suggestion though.

The backlighting on this is just beautiful - love how your dof blurred your background.
