Visited one of the ponds in the village this afternoon. A moorhen scooting under the willow tree was the only wildlife I saw, but there were open seed pods on the iris and lots of pondweed which is the backdrop to these grasses around the pond.
You have done the best thing with that pond weed here Ann - kept it far out of focus to provide just a lovely green backdrop to show off your grass. Very effective.
