Fence

It was a lovely afternoon for a walk so introduced my son to a new walk for him along the riverbank. This fence is next to the crooked stile which recently made an appearance. Returned home to watch the last of the swallows on the wires and a red and black woodpecker on the fruit trees.

Your description sounds idyllic and I love the shapes these kind of fences make - with their weathered look surrounded by battered grasses. The colours are gorgeous too in this.
