I've had a lot of wild time today with Forest School at work where the children found stag beetles and a frog, along with the usual slugs, snails, worms, woodlice and centipedes. After work I walked in the Forest of Dean for another hour and saw foxgloves, although not as many as in previous years. It was a good end to my working week.
Good to get out of the classroom on a day like today, sounds like a great day for 30-days wild. The foxglove is lovely, showing off those speckled inners so well.
