30 Days Wild - Day 11

I could hear these young swallows yesterday but they've obviously been very well fed, grown in a day and can now pop their beaks above the nest. They are in the passageway behind my bedroom so no doubt I will be hearing them early each morning from now on. I took a photo of a swallow collecting mud a few weeks ago and this is the nest that was built from it.

Oh my goodness! That little one waiting for food is so sweet. It will be lovely to watch them grow.
