Dan spotted this barn owl snoozing as we were out on a quick walk. There was quite a high hedge between us so it's not a clear picture with bits growing up and across but it was still lovely to see. We could have gone into the field but it probably would have disturbed the owl so left him to continue his doze. Dan took the photo - I wasn't tall enough to get any shot at all.
