Soudley Ponds in the Forest of Dean this morning. Lots of birdsong, pretty sunlight, leaping fish, ducks and ducklings, trees, ferns and trickling streams. It was very peaceful breathing in the air. I really must come here more often.
The day started with a leveret being spooked by a cock pheasant in the cowshed. The leveret had just returned to go in and I'm sure, judging by his reaction, that the pheasant said, "Boo!" Funny to witness.
