Walked down the orchard behind my house where the grass is hip high (tickled my legs) and there's a profusion of yellow buttercups. Everything looked so fresh and zingy on this sunny morning. Noticed the trails through the grass left by the pheasants and hares too. The young jackdaws are very raucous and dominate the sounds of the birds here at the moment.
