we were hiking up Black Hill on Morrow Bay, when we had to jump off the trail when we saw this guy flying down the trail and skidding sideways. I knew a had one a one shot chance at getting him and didn't have time to adjust settings. I think the shot came out fairly good.
What a terrific action shot! It really tells the story. I love the skid dust and how he is going so fast that he is about to go out of the frame of the photo! I am so incredibly sorry about the miscommunication relative to visiting at your campsite. Would never have made that totally facetious remark about what's for dinner; we thought we were just going to drop in. And here it is the last day of my visit; next trip we will make specific plans, OK? Glad I got to greet you in person at the parking garage at any rate! It's been fun to catch up on your biking photos this evening; I'm impressed you were able to keep up with your postings while camping!
