A couple of years ago, a pair of Scrub Jays made a nest in our orange tree and had babies. One of the babies has never left the yard. He follows my husband around the yard as he works and talks to him. Now he will eat right out of our hands or even just come and perch in our hand for a bit. Being Scrub Jays are from the same family as the Blue Jays, we named him Toronto, after the Toronto Blue Jays.
