Look at all the beautiful browns in this image! The Kookaburra would definitely fit into my November theme on browns. That's quite the look in his eye, as if he's disgruntled about having to move.
What an awesome capture and the clarity and details are incredible!! Fantastic lighting and composition! I have my feeders close to our deck and then I sit on my glider and watch and wait until the birds come in to eat. The feeders are surrounded by several trees and so I can get captures of them in the trees and on the feeders. If I go into the woods or for walks, I can never get a good photo!! Your's is just fantastic!!
@terryliv Yes, it seems a lot of us are posting kookaburras at the moment. They are reasonably easy to find with their distinctive call, although not very helpful with their poses
@cashew That sounds like a lovely setup Kathy. I'm trying to cultivate patience, but it's not my strong point. I do enjoy the challenge of finding and capturing shots of wild birds though.
