I came upon these 2 in the bushes. The male looked at me but wasn't prepared to stop, let go or pull out - he just watched me and then continued on merrily!

Probably just as well that he stayed focused rather than chasing you off. I've heard that foresters can be rather nasty if they get into aggressive mode.
