Thornham Parva Church by foxes37

Thornham Parva Church

This exquisite thatched Norman church in the middle of nowhere is a real treasure trove. Sir Basil Spence, the architect of Coventry Cathedral, is buried in the lovely country churchyard. Well worth a visit, even on this bitterly cold day.
I knew this looked, and sounded familiar. I was there on the 2nd July 2013 http://365project.org/susiemc/365/2013-07-02. You're absolutely righ, it's one of the most delightful little churches I've ever been in. At the time I didn't know how to do a collage so I was only able to post one photo. Lovely to see it again. We have friends who live not far away.

What a coincidence, I was born in Thornham, perhaps this will endure me to return for a visit one day!

@susiemc I think we may have suggested a visit when you came to see us; not sure. But we've visited there and nearby Eye several times over the years as they are both such amazing churches.
