Display of "real tulips"

We visited Tulip Museum in Amsterdam. It was fascinating and traced the story of the tulip since it was introduced to the country. In 1637 just before the tulip crash and tulip mania rocked the country, the cost of a tulip bulb was the same as the cost of a house. Unbelievable but true!

I've enjoyed your Amsterdam pictures. It looks like a beautiful city and the sort of place I'd enjoy. We really must go there.
