Merton St Peter by foxes37

Merton St Peter

There are over 1000 medieval churches in Norfolk and Suffolk, 200 of which have round towers. Merton St Peter is just inside parkland not far from Watton in the middle of nowhere. Its situation is stunning overlooking a lake and mansion. The part of the tower below the ridge was built in pre-conquest times; the rest is Norman.
Great collage with really interesting information. I didn't realise there were so many of these churches in Norfolk.

@dizzyd I meant to write that there are over 1000 medieval churches in Norfolk and Suffolk so I will correct it.

This is a really lovely collage Lis. I really liked all the churches we saw while we were on holiday.
