We were able to walk into the grounds of Burghley House from our hotel. They were magnificent with deer grazing everywhere. The top centre picture is a photo of just a tiny part of the house itself. We spent several hours exploring. Burghley House is considered to be the finest Tudor building in the country. It certainly is very impressive.
