The chap, David Palmer, in the background is a famous auctioneer on Bargain Hunt. Here he is in our village hall about to begin. He was brilliant and was instrumental in raising thousands for public access defibrillators in our village of Burwell.
I arrived 25 minutes early and it was already packed! I had to find a seat and carry it. In the end there was standing room only. I guess there were 30-50 people standing at the back. He (David Palmer) was very good and very funny.
