There’s a wonderful exhibition in Ely Cathedral of the gowns and crowns worn in films by actors and actresses playing monarchs. This dress was worn by Claire Foy in “The Crown” and is exquisite. The photographer is from Look East and he told me that part of tonight’s programme will be about the exhibition.
