I love Castle Acre in Norfolk. It’s situated on a hill and there aren’t many hills in East Anglia. It has the remains of a castle, a wonderful 11th century gate and an amazing Cluniac Priory which, if you like history, is exquisite - no time to visit it today. There’s a great tea shop too!
