My dear cousin ( seated on the sofa) died 3 years ago. Her husband and granddaughter visited at the weekend and brought me the photo of us at a friend’s party in Sheffield. I’m the serious one back left. It’s a party photo typical of the era: balloons, party hats, boys in short trousers, sandals and pretty party dresses. A long time ago!!
