There are a lot of historical buildings in Zaragoza, so I have chosen this one, near home, the Aljafería Palace, the Aragón Parliament, the "voice of the people".
Hello @dkbarnett. This is the photo challenge you suggested. There are a lot of historical building in Zaragoza and this one is very important. Nowadays it is the Aragón Parliament. In the foreground (on the right), you can see the Troubadour Tower. The tower received this name from Antonio Garcia Gutierrez’s 1836 romantic drama The Troubadour, based largely at the palace. This drama became the libretto for Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Il trovatore. I hope you like it.
