for get-pushed challenge from April @aecasey to experiment with homemade filters. I decided to try the vaseline concept. I didn't have vaseline, but I did find some vicks vapo-rub, which almost worked. I may have put too much onto the cling wrap though since I had to focus, then hold the wrap in front of the camera. I was unable to focus through the filter itself.
I think you did this well. It's interesting to see how you managed the focus and the goop. I always wondered about getting the greasy mess on a lens. Plastic wrap is a good idea.
